Dealflow & Investor Pipeline

Structured pipeline management for deal opportunities, investor relationships, fundraising activity, relationship follow-up, approval gates and closing readiness inside Prism.

Dealflow and investor pipeline work are closely related, but they are not the same thing. Dealflow is about tracking investment opportunities from first look through diligence, approval and close. Investor pipeline is about managing prospective LPs, relationship development, fundraising progress, onboarding, commitments and closing readiness.

Prism is designed to support both workflows in one governed operating environment. Pipeline records can connect to CRM relationships, documents, approval workflows, reporting, investor portal activity, capital activity and audit evidence.

This page is separate from the Widget Dashboard. The Widget Dashboard shows pipeline signals and summary cards. Dealflow & Investor Pipeline explains the actual workflow layer behind those signals: stages, owners, actions, review paths, relationship context and evidence.

Why dealflow and investor pipeline need their own page

The Widget Dashboard is the visibility layer. It should show live cards, summaries, alerts and operating signals. But the underlying pipeline workflow deserves its own explanation because it is more than a dashboard feature.

Dealflow and investor pipeline are core operating workflows. They involve people, stages, documents, decisions, follow-ups, approvals, onboarding, closing readiness, reporting and investor-facing handoff. If those workflows are treated as just another widget, the product story becomes too shallow.

Prism is stronger when the distinction is clear: the Widget Dashboard shows what needs attention, while Dealflow & Investor Pipeline manages how opportunities and investor relationships actually move through the firm.
